DiSC Behaviour Profiling

DiSC Behaviour Profiling

Would you like to...

Understand the differences in...

  • opinions, procedures, approach to work, or
  • solutions to a problem that often inhibit production in the workplace.

Using the DiSC behavioural model will help you...

  • improve your communication?
  • ease frustration and conflict?
  • develop more effective managers and teams?

The DiSC Personal Profile System has been used worldwide for more than 30 years, with more than 40 million users. It is the only DiSC behavioural model that has been validated and normed for Australia and New Zealand.

Because DiSC measures behaviour, not personality, it is a useful tool where you want people to have a better understanding of their behaviour in specific situations, and how this behaviour may impact on their relationships with others. Only when people are conscious of their behaviour and its impact are they free to choose other behaviours that are more effective or appropriate.

As such, the system has wide-ranging applications in the areas of team building, customer service and sales training, and management development, and can also play a valuable part in the recruitment and performance appraisal process.

What Does DiSC Measure?

The DiSC model measures behaviour and provides a non-judgmental language for exploring behavioural issues across four primary dimensions:

  • Dominance Direct and Decisive
  • Influence Optimistic and Outgoing
  • Steadiness Sympathetic and Co-operative
  • Conscientiousness Concerned and Correct How
